THE CONSORTIUM OF BLACK ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHERS FOR THE ARTS AND Opportunities Industrialization Center invite you to our 28th Annual InnerCity/Multi-Cultural Youth Art Exhibit Opening Reception, with re-freshments, which will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Arizona OIC facility, 39 East Jackson Street, Phoenix, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This Exhibit, open to high school and junior high school youth, regardless of race, gender or national origin is a Recognition of Excellence as teachers and students from invited schools chose outstanding works for submittal. Judged by a panel of recognized Artists, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention recipients receive cash awards. Participating High School Seniors are eligible, upon completion and submittal of application packets, for various scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 to assist in their continuing education.
